The weirdest is a 'board game ' called balance tree that I won at a fair some years ago. It's a child's game containing a stock on which you place a loose platform. It balances... But then you and other players in tien place pawns on it without tipping it over.
It's not that uncommon, but the instructions are in genuine Engrish, which makes the game super of endearingly hilarious ('players must use pawns and drop or next player'... That sort of thing ).
In video games, my current record that I've played is probably 'islands:non places'. I got it on the itch.io bundle last year, and... I have no idea what the developer was thinking or not thinking. There are some models in a foggy environment. Click on certain things and some random stuff happens. Like... Click on a dark time table of what appears to be a bus stop to have a bus come over from nowhere and see some chicken eggs hop out and disappear in the fog. It has the visuals of a horror game, experimental sounds and the gameplay of a point n click. It's not really bad or anything. It's just... I can't think of why anyone would make a game like that.

Weird games? I don't know. I remember these pokemon coins I had. But I never actually did anything with them. My dad got them for me when I got a gameboy color for christmas, then me and my bro got pokemon gold & silver, and then this. I don't even know how to use it.
I also had giga pets, but I don't know if it counts as a game or weird. Is like the Tamagotchi thing but before that became popular. Mine was a alien. You had to take care of it like a pet, but it always dies. Every time i go to bed and wake up, is full of poop, and starving and then it dies. Was way worst than chao garden in sonic adventure.
The weirdest thing I can confirm was a video game is a cart for the GBA that had a load of nes games on it. This was before I even knew about homebrew emulators for GBA, and i also think before flashcarts. I just saw it in a store and bought it cause I thought it was some good deal.

@Xdqwerty, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! is the Japanese version of the game, different settings/characters/songs but otherwise identical mechanics. I played that before I knew about Elite Beat Agents lol. Both fantastic games https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osu!_Tatakae!_Ouendan
