guys,, im having a weird problem here.
I bought a new 2TB HDD like this one => http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-182...ado-2000-gb-_JM
CFG, HBC can read it fine and I can play well too.
But this HDD is causing some interference to my TV screen and, if I use Real Nand with HDD powered on, then my screen becomes black and come back to normal. this occurs each 10-20 sec (the black flash).
But, if you load Uneek or Uniiloader, then I dont have any problem with flashing to black.
Any idea???

My Wii is working great wih older WD 1tb,,

thx

When does it go black though? System Menu, in a channel, or somewhere else?

it just flash and goes back to same place.
Example:
Wii Menu flash => bck to Wii Menu
HBC => HBC
CFG => CFG
Its a like a some incompatibility but it works great when using uneek or uiiloader. thats too weird.
this flashes jut occurs in Real Nand. So, should it be any conflict with Wii + HDD??? Cause if I power off HDD, no flashes and no interference to my screen.

That happened with my old HDD enclosure
Some cables were broken, and when I touched the wii usb port, the screen changed to 16132p resolution, but it worked perfectly with my computer

You heed some real ground for test like:
- ground in outlet
- metal pipe water installation in kitchen/bathroom

Connect one end of usb cable to hdd cnlosure.
Other end hold in fist.
Turn hdd on.
Using free hand touch ground mentioned above.

You should feel problem very clear.

ps.
If You have pacemaker ask doctor first.

I fixed both problems now.

First problem: Interference to my TV.
Solution: Installed a Ferrite ring to my power supplier. This was causing interference to my TV because power induction.

2nd problem: Wii was showing black screen (few seconds) after 10-20sec, everytime.
Solution: Set Active the first primary FAT32 partition.

I hope this can help some1.
