This is a problem with some CIAs. You actually have the update, but it will say you don't. Just learn to ignore it.

you can just say not to the update, you don't need to update games to play them it will alert you on the home menu when you try to start, but just press ignore, or whatever the button says

Only solution i can think of is spoofing a .cia while converting it from .3ds/3dz to .cia

can I fix this at all or through the NUS updater somehow or do I just live with it? not sure if this issue existed with gateway or not as I didn't test every game.
