Famitsu is worth shit now. How many 40's have they given in this year? I think they're getting to lenient with their scores!

Yeah, I just do not trust Famitsu. I call it the Draqon Quest effect. Any game that they are massively biased towards (japanese developed games etc.) they award ridiculously high scores.

Damn Famitsu, giving ridiculously high scores to Japanese games like GTA.

Both scores reek of absolute fail they're just too high with GTA:CW being overrated and the Pretty Cure game just failing beyond comprehension seriously make the Pretty Cure games into fighting games like the first 3 instead of some game filled with fail minigames.

I have heard rumours that these are not the real scores as the magazine was delayed due to a big announcement. If it is true, I dont respect Famitsu anymore as the 40/40 are becoming too commonplace now. While I do not argue they are not great games, I dont think many are really 100% brilliant.
    Notice how the list is:

    1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
    2. Soulcalibur
    3. Vagrant Story
    4. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
    5. Nintendogs
    6. Final Fantasy XII
    7. Super Smash Bros. Brawl
    8. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
    9. 428: FÅ«sasareta Shibuya de
    10. Dragon Quest IX
    11. Monster Hunter Tri
    12. Bayonetta

Half of the list has been assembled in the last 2 years

Seems the 360 Bayonetta is superior to the PS3 version.

It should be. It was the lead development console.

The only game I want out of those scans is FFXIII, the rest I'll pass. Final Fantasy XIII is looking pretty good from those scans and can't wait to play it on Christmas, my father is getting it for me for Christmas since I won't have much money come December due to other games and presents for the family.

LOL! Maybe this is obvious, maybe not. But "Master Erauqs" in the BBS scan is actually "Square" spelled backwards. Oh you Nomura, and your neverending anagrams... [IMG]

Not lenient, just greedy for the cash that pay for the reviews.
