Ok guys, I've been looking around, trying to find the most efficient way to blocking access to updates for the wii u. I've found it and it comes in the form of creating a v-lan for those of you that can. If you are running Tomato or DD-WRT or one of those custom routers, or even a decent router with alot of options, you can create a v-lan just for the Wii-U. Once created, you just block internet access either using access restriction or some even have the ability to set it up right in the v-lan section. Tested it out and there is no way for it to contact the outside world, which means there is no way for it to gain access to Nintendo's update servers. If I get the time, I will post a tut with pics for those of you that have never done this type of thing before or those of you that don't feel comfortable mucking with things without a guide.
