My 3ds no longer boots to the home screen menu at all whatsoever. I was trading pokemon then closed my 3ds. After that the issue seemed to start occuring. I AM ABLE to get to the LUMA CONFIGURATION screen as well as pressing start and initiate safehax or godmode9. I tried booting without the SD card in it as well. How could this issue have happened if I just closed my 3ds after trading pokemon? Y'all have done such a wonderful job at helping me with my past issues. Just really hope this is easy to fix and I didn't brick my system..

Doesnt sound like it's brick more or less, but hmm you got godmode9 access? try copying boot.firm (if b9s) or arm9loaderhax.bin (if A9LH) to CTRNAND to sdless boot (you didnt state if booting w/o SD it just turned off.)if you can boot this way it'd mean at that moment your Home Menu Theme data has Corrupted. and needs to be deleted to fix. (https://3ds.guide/troubleshooting goto black screen on boot for where to find your theme data folder.)

but if this is the case, i'd advise copying your SD Card to your PC, format your SD , and perform an Fake Check. https://3ds.guide/h2testw-(windows).html (if you have a fake i'd advise against further use of the SD Card untill you replace it. )

Yeah the troubleshooting guide seemed to help me. I really appreciate it dude.
NP, i'd still suggest backing up your SD and running H2testw to see if its a fake as well when you get random corruptions like this, its going to be best you keep backups and look towards replacing it when you can. if teh card isnt a fake, this could be a sign of it wearing out. (better safe than sorry ya know? just backing up will save you some headaches when it just up and completly gives out on you uinexpectedly)
