So I've been trying to install the fan english patch for Fire Emblem If special edition with a .3ds rom I have laying around. So I made xorpads off of the special edition using Decrypt9 via brahma but it says I'm missing Main.exefs_7x

When I generate the xorpads I only get 2 files with the names of: 000400000012DE00.Main.exefs_norm.xorpad 000400000012DE00.Main.exheader.xorpad

I could really use some help here. I don't know what to do from here.

Patch has 2 folders. One has tons of .lz files other one has 2 .bin files.

    What do you mean nevermind?

Okay, I'll take a shot at this.

    I think it's a problem with ncchinfo.bin, try using Shadowtrances Decrypt9.

Read Op again. I'm using Decrypt9.

Here's a screen from using it. Maybe it'll help here:

    No, there's an actual difference between Brahma's Decrypt9 and Shadowtrance's Decrypt9.

I see you don't have slot0x25bin, maybe you'll need that?

I see about the different versions of Decrypt9 but I don't even know what slot0x25bin is.

if your sysnand is on 7.0 or higher you don't need slot0x25KeyX.bin

Decrypt9UI doesn't seem to work right. It says Not found: weird lookinglettersandnumbers.bin

I think you set up decrypt9 wrong. Not too sure about that either.

    I put Decrypt9UI.3dsx and Decrypt9UI.smdh in /3ds/Decrypt9UI/

    What else am I missing?

Use RxTools and use the Generate Xorpad option under dumping options

This is shadowtrance's decrypt9 we're talking about, right?

    If so, read the readme.

All it says for homebrew install is to do what I did. Clearly it isn't enough for the UI version or something. I dunno.

    You missed this part.

After you do that, I'm pretty sure it'll work.

And don't forget to create a folder called "Decrypt9" on the root of your SD card.

It worked but I got the exact same message on the top screen as in my earlier screen. Still only got 2 xorpad files.

Did you use the same ncchinfo.bin from the Brahma version?

I used the one from Simple CIA Converter. I didn't realise Decrypt9 could also make the ncchinfo.bin as well as work with it.
