About the fake Hori on Dealextreme.. for those who got it I have a question, are them adhesive?
I mean how they stick to the touch screen? And to remove them?
I saw a fake brand that was selling adhesive ones but I don't want to stick anything to my touch screen.

thanks for those who help me

I can agree on the "fake" DealExtreme Hori's, work fine for me also. Removing is not that hard and no residue stays behind. Bought at bulkrate the last time

I hope DealExtreme keeps selling these, cheap and good.

I recently took off my genuine Hori touch screen film and put on the fake I bought six months earlier and I can't see any appreciable difference between them yet. I couldn't take off the top screen protector, though. I should note that it took me an hour and a half to put on, though.

Fake hori sticks to your screen and can't be removed easily.. It leaves residue when removed.. Those protectors are very thin unlike the real ones..

Well in that case, even though mine were from Japan, and had what LOOKED like legit packaging and stuff that means mine are fake...
It took me a hair dryer and a pointy end of a compass to get mine off and it left a bit of residue although I don't know if that was from my past one.
But the point is that it's a PAIN IN THE ASS to get it off

Dealwoot and Leetmod both sell fake Hori protectors. Your best bet is to hit your local Target store and get the Protective Filter + for $10.

My friend bought me some from Japan, they cost 640 yen.
I put them on, they don't scratch easily at all, but one problem is that I find the surface a bit sticky?
The labels and everything were fine as far as I could see.

Anyone know about the surface being sticky is that real or fake
Also the cloth that came with it looked legit but felt spongy?

It really shouldn't be sticky!!
It's a sign of a fake one....

The side that sticks to the screen isn't sticky, and when you touch it neither does the face up side, but when I put my stylus on it it does

And it feels thickish?
And it's hard to remove just like my old one.
But it's not scratching easily...

Hmmm, original HORI shouldn't feels sticky from either side, and it should have really clean smooth surface, so stylus would move even better than on screen itself...

I don't know, maybe it is real.....It's hard to tell with all those fakes around..

And your point is?!

All fakes looks just like real, and DX sells fakes at the price of $2 (little less), and original (Japan imported) for $8 (little less).....

The ones you got are clearly fakes! (I kno0w because I got them too)

Is just I'd feel really bad if my friend bought it for so much and they were fake...

They're just as hard to get off as my old one. Hairdryer, here we come.

Hmmm, once you get the edge/corner off, the rest should come off pretty easy (if it's the real HORI)..

I don't mind having fake, as long as I didn't overpayed it....I would be pissed if I pay full price for the real one, and it turns out fake.....But spending $2 on a screen protector is really OK with me..
