Homebrew Warioware DIY Black Screen Fix + Desmume

I wanted to record some records I made in DIY. Simple.
I wanted to use DeSmuMe to record AND import the savegame off my R4.
At first, I tried a ROM without the black screen patch. It didn't work.
Then I used a prepatch, but to no avail.
Any idea on how to fix it?

The prepatch works fine on NO$GBA, iDeaS, and WinDS, but not DeSmuMe...

I decided to use FRAPS and NO$GBA, but I can't convert my R4 save into a NO$GBA save.
How would I do that???

question: are r4 saves different or they're also raw saves?

also there are 3 options in no$gba.ini file about the save type: raw, compressed and uncompressed.

What .ini file?
All I got was the program.

you should have it. try playing a game i think it automatically creates one if you don't have it.

It doesn't make one. And yes, I am.
The second website you gave me doesn't have an option for NO$GBA save, but does for DeSmuMe, so I'll try that
But, the DeSmuMe won't even load!
Oh, woe is me :|

download a no$gba with .ini file. or you might have it already and it's hidden.

or install winds pro and get the no$gba folder then uninstall it.

Wait, now I'm using the .mio files + Daru Wave Player.
I get this message while importing and trying to play my songs:

I don't know what that means, so what am I supposed to do?
Do I have to install Japanese text? It's a Japanese program, so that was my guess.

SAV/SNA File Format == Raw

though i'm not sure if this will help. but if you try to convert the savefile again with the save converter, you can choose raw instead of no$gba. maybe.

I actually ended up using the ShunyWeb converter. It worked!
I changed the whole SAV/SNA thing to Raw, but I think it's supposed to be uncompressed.
Aaand, both options don't work. :|
Wait, I'm using a NO$GBA save! Shouldn't it be compressed then?

i suggest trial and error baby.

tbh, i'm also not sure. just be sure to back up stuff and remember what it was before you touched it.

I just wanted DeSmuMe to work with DIY. It'd be a little simpler.
