I've been searching all day, and ive been unable to track down the elusive creature known as the "pokemon emerald catch all pokemon patch".

If anyone has any information to its whereabouts, it would be greatly appreciated. B

Back to the hunt!

When I try loading those gameshark saves with VBA, it goes to the file browser and VBA crashes. Anyone know what's going on?

I grabbed the first save off of the list and with Pokeon Emerald UE version (CRC32 1F1C08FB), hit file -> import -> Gameshark Snaphot... and grabbed the save from where I stuck it. The game reset and bam I have a nice completed game.

I use VBALink 1.7.2, I have not tried the new beta yet:

A bunch of VBA mods I collected up the homepages for you might also want to try: http://www.sosuke.com/ezflash/wiki/index.php/VBA

Now to attone for my sin of playing a pokemon game.

thanks guys, and just a question to akuma, you don't by any chance have any idea where i could find a guide that tells me where the pokes are? Its just, the Ruby and Sapphire pokemon are easy enough to find, but for the pokes from Gold, Silver, Red, and Blue, you never fight them, thus there area never shows up in the pokedex. Any help would be great.

If your talking about pokemon emerald then this guide will help you. It tells the location of all 386 pokemon in the game I used it to find them back when I played it.

Also if you are having trouble finding a certain pokemon use this guide. It has action replay codes so you can tell it what pokemon you will encounter in the wild just in case there is one super rare one you miss.

Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.

Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha

@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
