I have a channel for the USB Loader conveniently installed. I used to put in my 8GB SD card, install a game, and later extract it and burn it.

Now it won't read my 8GB or 4GB card. It will read my 2GB card, but that's a bit of a problem for bigger games. I've tried oggzee's configurable loader as well (I didn't install a channel) and tried loading it from my 8GB card then installing the game in. That didn't work either.

Any help is appreciated.

You mean the Wii System? Well, according to the Wii System Menu, it's 4.0U.

IIRC, there's an update going around, but I heard the update deleted the HBC.

Well, I'm working on updating my system right now.

It's probably not faulty because I tried both my 8GB(Which worked before) and 4GB cards. And could someone inform me what this SDHC bug is?

**** I think I screwed up my Wii.

I updated my system to 4.2u. HBC strangely still worked, but USB Loader and Backup loader channel didn't work.

I tried installing the wads through wad installer. However, my Wii Remote apparently doesn't sync up with my Wii anymore when I use a homebrew. What should I do now?

EDIT- Now HBC won't work either

I'm guessing you did an official update, and not the safe updater.

Use Dop-IOS to get the trucha bug back and delete the stub IOSs. Then reinstall your cIOS.

*If this makes your Homebrew Channel upside down, just reinstall it.

EDIT: If you can't load anything in the HBC, then use bannerbomb to run Dop-IOS.

Alright, Backup loader channel and USB Loader Channel are working fine now.

However, even after all that work to update the system, USB Loader still doesn't recognize my 8GB card.

Thanks for everyone's help so far, nonetheless.

EDIT- Truly, thanks for all the help everyone. I've got it to work by plugging in my 8GB card in from the USB slot. I thought it wouldn't work because the reader I'm using is a multi-card reader, but after I tried it, it works!
