Hello - I'm running 4.2 system menu. I've followed the guide up to this step (http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/hacking-guide/trucha)

And then I wanted to install this: http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/cios/waninkoko

I've downloaded the appropriate IOS38-64-v3867.wad, and it is placed on the SD card. Not sure what this means in the instructions [If this is your first cIOS, choose 36. Else, choose 249. (If you have problems with this, go to the Trucha Bug section)] but I chose ISO36. And the error message it returns while reading the WAD is error ret = -1. I'm not sure what this means, and I'm unsure how to know what cIOS I have installed.

I also saw this article - http://gbatemp.net/t212497-best-cios-selection-for-newbies - should I follow this one instead?

    Thanks.

I think you need ios38-v3610. Or just install from NUS, instead of wad.

Thanks. I just went ahead with NUS install and it worked, not sure what it downloaded exactly.

It downloaded the base ios you needed, then patched it and installed it as ios249 and ios250
