This is mostly out of curiosity, but other than a few bug fixes and USB Loading abilities, are there any differences between Waninkoko's cIOS and Hermes cIOS? Is one more beneficial that the other and does it really matter if they are installed specifically over IOS249, IOS222, and IOS223? And why is it that cIOS222 requires a merged IOS37 and IOS38? Sorry if this is just a lot of random questioning, but this has had me baffled for a while.

The two have quite different guts. Hermes's cIOS does not contain the DIP plugin; it is located in the loader. Hermes's cIOS does not contain SD-loading support, but it is compatible with more USB devices than Waninkoko's. Unfortunately, Waninkoko's will no longer see updates as he quit the scene.

It really doesn't matter what you merge for IOS222/223, unless you're loading a Rock Band or Guitar Hero game.

Doesn't the Hermes cIOS cope better with dual layer games as well? Personally I stick with cIOS222 and only have cIOS249 on there just in case. 222 is rock-solid IMHO.
