Srsly? You're wasting everyone's time with something from three months ago?

Just because you discovered it today doesn't make it "news."

3 Months ago? Waninkoko just announced it 2 days ago, check out the time stamp on the post "06/09/2009" Which would be the 6th of September 2009. I assume you are confusing the 06 with the month (that website does it Day/Month/Year), that can be seen by the date of the post before it "19/08/2009" since there is no 19th month we have to assume the second number is the day.

This however is still old news (just not THAT old) because it was all over this board 2 days ago.

ahem, well there were some "rumors' a few months back that cIOSrev14 was going to be his last custom IOS and he would be on a hiatus from wii hacking....and also there was another topic here regarding the same issue days ago..prolly minutes after he posted the blog update. so i guess..its 'kinda' old news. not the "EXTRA EXTRA read all about it" type. Actually, he had stated on IRC that the whole deal of cIOSrev14 being the "last" cIOS was mis-interpreted....and from there he updated the topic to something like "Last cIOS? NEVER!"

This is a new addition to his blog as stated earlier. Well, from the looks of it he'll still be releasing fixes and so on, probably now however trailing behind Hermes. At this point in time Hermes cIOS (222/223 v4) is better than even the latest rev14, as it does not have the DL issues and it is starting to be able to play games that rev14 cannot due to the merging ability (via USB that is), but that is not to say that the more regular Waninkoko updates would not be missed....especially for increased NAND emulation support. Even tho I hear him on cIOS support continuing but being less frequent, it usually ends up otherwise when you move on to other projects (hopefully not...but at least the pessimist inside of me thinks this way)

Well, all I can say to him is thank you for the releases (and some pretty good apps too) and good luck in future en devours.

    Seriously, you need to stop.

I've read up on some of your posts and a majority of them are useless trash, not even that. Atleast trash can be recycled and made into energy. Do you have anything better to do than parade around the forum like an assless ape spewing Wii hatred on a forum that's probably 70% Wii and DS and the other 30% is mostly weaboos and other consoles. There's obviously a better forum out there you can spew Wii hatred and people will agree. Try a PS3 forum. I still think it's funny, on the other hand, most of your topics are in regards to YOUR Wii. You even bought a modchip, what a sucker. Otherwise, grow up or shut up.

heard it a while back but refused to believe it.

Waninkoko has been a big part of my love for the Wii. Without him and the possibilities there are because of his hard work, the Wii would be useless.

Good thing many other coders are carrying on his legacy. Keeps me interested in the scene.
