“(NoA) will wait until at least March of 2009 before giving the system the US push it deserves”. - IGN

"We first reported that IGN claimed the DSi would launch in March of 2009. That news spread around the internet like wildfire. Now, IGN has edited their article, and it now includes the statement above. In March or March at the earliest…which one sounds more plausible to you?"

I blame JPH for putting it in the front page. :X

But seriously, this isn't anyone's fault BUT IGN's. These things are out of our control. They are usually a trusted source of information, but MISTAKES HAPPEN.

I never understood why people REALLY counted IGn as 'reliable'. They'll say whatever they want as long as it pleases someone.

Is there anyone who absolutely cannot wait for the DSi?
Because I thought that the general response to it, was 'meh'.

I thought Nintendo clearly established they weren't releasing the DSi until late next year? When did IGN ever get this claim in the first place?

That just seems like a definition of a marketing approach. Don't know how that would have an effect on the release date one way or another.
