Homebrew WAD Manager WiiWare Games-U on EU

If I change my Wii's region from europe to usa, then using wad manager download a U game and change my wii's region back to european will I still be able to play the game? Will it cause a brick or freeze the wii?

You don't need to change your (EU) Wii's region to install (U) WADs. As far as I know, you can still install them but when you try to play them using your (EU) Wii, you'll get a message saying "This channel can't be used."

you can make em region free or use the preloader 'region free channels' hack to play em
