Hacking WAD Help!!!

Hey I'm building a Wad does anybody know how to inject .tpl files in wads? Because Wadder doesn't support that format and I heard someone say that tpl files show up better (not so pixelated) on the Wii menu. I think that it was IceFire who said it.

you have to unpack the wad, then the 0000000.app ,and the either the banner.bin or icon.bin depending on what you are editing, replace the tpl files, edit the brylt files, then repack it back together.

lol, if you insist on going this route with little knowledge of byrlt editing, I suggest you have some sort of banner brick protection in place.

I just tried doing that and my banner ended up looking a mess. Look:

And when I installed it it ended up like this:

Am I doing something wrong? Or is my computer the problem? Because in that case I could try in other PC, but it's at my grandma's and it's pretty far from here

You have to hex edit the brylt for the banner file, adding 00's to the very end, until it is clear.

Search for fuzzyfixer, select your WAD and do a 16 bits fix. It's should solve your problem.

Maaaan I just bricked my Wii

Guess I added too many 0's to the file lol. I'll try FuzzyFixer and see if I have any luck
