I have the latest version of WiiFlow (v5.5.4-1) on my vWii and I cannot get it to boot. Whenever I launch it, (from hbc or forwarder) I get a black screen that persists until I turn my console off. I’ve looked literally everywhere and haven’t found a solution.

My cios’s are in order, my files are correctly formatted, and I use an sd card.

v5.5.3 seems to work just fine.

ANY help is greatly appreciated!!

I realize this is topic is over a month old, but I have a question, when you say you "use an sd card," do you mean that the WiiFlow app is on the SD card?

I've found a bug with the current version of WiiFlow Lite (I'm also using vWii) that sounds similar to this (although failure to load could be many things), and what I've found is that if I manually initialize the SD card such as by swapping back and forth between HDD and SD in the Homebrew Channel, this allows the current version of WiiFlow Lite to start correctly. It also works if I initialize the SD card by loading USB Loader GX from the HDD as well, since one of that app's very first steps is initializing the SD card.

For me the issue is that I have WiiFlow Lite on my HDD rather than on the SD card and the Homebrew Channel is defaulted to viewing apps on the HDD, so I don't know if this will accomplish anything if you're already running WiiFlow Lite from SD. But if you're running it from an external HDD then it's worth a shot.
