[vWii] USB Loader GX "Reinitializing devices" and WiiFlow Lite black screen

Hello.

I've spent the last few days trying to setup my hacked Wii U, but no success.
I don't know if it makes a difference, but my console is Japanese.

At first, I tried to use the external HDD (WD Blue 1 TB 5400 RPM 2.5 inch HDD with Ugreen external 3.0 case) for Wii U backups and my Lexar 256 GB MicroSD card for Wii backups. The HDD worked fine for Wii U backups, but USB loader GX was giving me a black screen every time I booted *any* backups. I checked the integrity of the files by testing the exact same backups on Dolphin and also Wii Backup Manager. Everything was fine. The backups are ISOs, that I converted to WBFS with Wii Backup Manager if that matters.

So, I gave up on the MicroSD thing. Then I found out about USBPartition and SDUSB. So I set up ISFSHax.
My first attempt was to make 2 different partitions on my external HDD, one for Wii U and another for Wii games. The Wii U partition was recognized and was working fine, while the second partition (FAT32) was kept intact after connecting the HDD to windows. I installed the backups on the Wii U partition and they worked fine.
However, USB Loader GX was stuck on "Reinitializing devices"

Then I gave up on that too. For peace of mind, I removed ISFShax, removed aroma, restored the Wii U to original settings and wiped out the entire HDD and MicroSD. Then I hacked everything again following the wii dot guide and wii u dot guide, setup ISFShax.
Now, I tried the following: parttitioned MicroSD with a FAT32 partition for homebrew and a NTFS partition for Wii U games. Then the HDD would be used exclusively for USB Loader GX. Again, the NTFS partition on the MicroSD was recognized, formatted by the Wii U and installed backups just fine. The FAT32 partition also worked fine for homebrew, obviously.
However, USB loader GX was stuck on reinitializing devices again. WiiFlow Lite doesn't even start, it's stuck in a Black Screen.

I am using the port 0 on the Wii U (top one), already tried swapping ports and cable just for piece of mind but no results.
Already reinstalled the cIOS dozens of times
I also tried swapping the HDD for an Adata SP580 SSD, but no results. Stuck on reinitializing devices too
I am using an Y cable connected on the back ports of the Wii U.

I don't have any answers, but I wonder if you could try a workaround that worked for me. Download Nintendont then launch that first, and wait until it asks you to select SD or USB (I don't think you have to have any Gamecube ISOs on the HDD). Then press "home" to go back to the Homebrew Channel. Now launch USB Loader GX or WiiFlow Lite.

This made everything work correctly.

You need to use a Y cable for your HDD. I'm using USB Partition, the setup that works for me is making 2 partitions, both have to be set to primary, the first one is used for Wii games and is formatted as fat32, the second one was formatted as NTFS which was then formatted by the Wii U. Another thing you can try is choosing a different loader IOS for USB Loader GX, try IOS 58.
