Hacking vWii - EA Sport Active 2 / EA Sports Active: NFL Training Camp - USB receiver is not detected

I got EA Sports Active: NFL Training Camp with all peripherals and also had EA Sport Active 2 on my vWii (modded with d2x-v10-beta52). Both games do not detect USB receiver no matter what port I use. However, when the games are loaded on PC with Dolphin (with USB receiver being whitelisted), the receiver is detected just fine.

I skimmed the forum, but didn't find anything that solves my problem. So, is there any way to make USB Receiver work on vWii?

Are you running the game on disc, over USB, or via Virtual Console? Your CIOS doesn't matter unless you're using option two.

I run NFL on disk and Sports Active 2 over SD card. However, my console is PAL, while disk (NFL) is NTSC, so I run both via WiiFlow.

So, I replaced d2x-v10-beta52 with d2x-v10-beta53-alt since the latter is said to have better support of USB accessories. And now NFL on disk detects USB receiver!

But now WiiFlow crashes when I'm trying to load Sports Active 2.

there is also a new beta version of wii flow

I havent used it yet, my problems where fixed by changing the video mode to PAL 60hz (I use a PAL Wii U with NTSC games)

Thanks for the tip! I'm pleased to see that Wii Homebrew scene is very much alive. However, it didn't work for me. I tried to install new Wiiflow and it just didn't boot. Don't know why, maybe it's my fault, but anyhow, I decided to sacrifice my 32 GB USB stick instead and load my games from it, using USB Loader GX. And, to my amazement, everything is working.

P.S. I forgot to tell that old Wiiflow failed to load a disk game too, I loaded it via USB Loader GX.

The first time I played NFL was on the Wii. I wasn't too fond of the game, but at least I learned the game's rules, and I started to develop my interest in it. I am a gambling man, so I usually make bets on Soccer, but once I decided to watch an NFL game, why not make a bet on the match, which was very strange for my family, because I am from Europe and here NFL is not popular at all. I found some NFL Computer Picks online and made a bet. The match was exciting for me, and I even won the bet, and starting that day I began to be a fan of American Football.
