@UltraMagnus - If Richard Branson wants to shoot astroids... he will shoot astroids... and then he will hire scientists to break down the astroid chunks into usable material and make a killing.

If any spaceship was going to be armed, SS1 probably be it. It's a small target too. Too bad the view would suck for taking aim.
