darn it, you beat me before i had to delete my thread, but also yes is true Mircosoft allowed Rareware to create Viva Pinata on the DS, i was quite surprised

It looks pretty similar to the Banjo Kazooie game on GBA

I hope there's some kind of 3D rotation on that world.

The animals look like they're in 3D, but you're right, the environments look a little drab. But hey gameplay>graphics, right?

Viva Pinata is a really fun game, I had a great time with it on the 360 collecting everything. Trying to balance what species to be going for in your garden is a tricky thing at times!

Hopefully this comes off fairly well, it's a game more people should play.

I didn't see the fuss about Viva Pinata on the 360. That and I didn't have money to buy it. Some say it's an addicting game that pleases different ages. I'll check it out when it hits the DS.
