Rare are adding a sandbox mode, there'll be wi-fi swapping of pinatas, the journal and encyclopedia have been upgraded and it will feature even more pinatas than the original. Another feature is that the stylus directly controls your pinatas. So you don't have to watch your pinatas get demolished by bad guys. [IMG]

Was expecting this to be announced but not this soon! Very good news, I really liked Viva Pinata but it felt a bit odd playing something like that on the 360.

Glad its not the party game either but a proper title.

It makes sense to make it into a DS game. I just hope they don't lose the charm of the game when they try and scale it down for the little handheld.

I bought the 360 version two weeks ago, pretty fun game.

Nice! I'm really looking forward to it since I always wanted to play the 360 version.

Pretty cool. It should be a good bit of fun. It's hard to get too excited about it, though. It just can't bring to DS the same amazing experience it did to the 360.

It's just the publisher, they don't have anything to do with the game other than distribution. [IMG]

Only handheld games, there were a few on the GBA : Sabre Wulf, Banjo, the Donkey Kong Country series, etc.

Also, they don't have Bond's rights anymore, so no, no goldeneye sequel -Besides PDZ [IMG] -.

Heh, mandatory 'any chance of Goldeneye DS post'.

Havn't played Viva Pinata but looked pretty fun.

Nice to see Microsoft finally push some of it's IP onto the DS like with the GBA - makes me wonder what took them so long though, perhaps the rumours of MS considering a portable xbox/gaming device going around last year held some truth (or did those rumours turn out to be the still nowhere to be seen mobile pc; Origami?). Anywho good to see MS has some sense, supporting Ninty - another small kick in the balls for Sony at least.

Rare are owned by Microsoft, coincedently, they're games are published by Microsoft, just like this one will be, as we've seen before.

I can tell you all now, this is going to be an amazing game. The Xbox 360's Viva Pinata was well and truely a great game (one the majority of you should feel ashamed for not even playing [IMG]) and I doubt there will be much difference other than Controls, AI and Graphics.

I can't help but feel it'll lose its feel being downgraded so far, but excited nontheless.

I love that with Rare, Nintendo gets games Microsoft paid dearly for.
