I think a Preview would be interesting.
To present next months games for example.

We are doing a quick "Releases of the month" on gbatemp too, but it's just the title and the release date.
If you can talk about the games, the developers, show some pictures too, it could be nice.

You can also list the next VITAzine's titles you'll cover.
So, users are addicted to it before the next one and will wait for it every days!

The magazine is very interesting, but as a graphic designer I can't help but notice the unbalanced layout (i.e. The margins between the texts and images), the use of red text (review scores) on a blue background and the font choice (you could try using a normal san-serif font such as; arial, segoe ui, lucida sans, etc.)

Other than that I really enjoyed reading the content. :)

Content: 9/10
Design: 6/10

It's nice.
I have few questions:

- why issue #0? it's not the official release? because the picture included still show #1 at the bottom.
- Isn't too hard to read white text over light blue background on the console? I don't have a Vita to try myself, just wondering if it's not bothering.
- Articles are not signed (except "Editor", meaning there are different staff position, so there are certainly a different person for reviews?)
- pictures are the size of the VitaScreen? I'm sure it can resize pictures without problem, so it could have a higher resolution for people reading on another media (computer, tablet, etc.) and game screenshot would look even better.

I see you made a preview and release of the month :yay:

Good luck for the next

Hey guys, thanks gor the feedback.

Glad you liked it, i have taken all of that on board and changes will be made for issue #1.

This was issue #0 because it was a test release , I brain farted and didnt change the Issue number on page 1..... oops.

The white text and small font is actually fine on a vita yeh.

The next issue will have a great deal more content...... a new graphic design and more.

All content was written by me this time.... hence no signing.

I'm looking for people to submit content, if they are interested.

Not PDF because it's to read on the VITA.
I have changed everything about the mag since the last snapshot.
What background would you suggest? you can't just use white!

For game reviews, I would suggest a screenshot of the game in background, with a filter/layer which make the background almost pastel/transparent color, almost unnoticeable.
then place your text blocks in uni-colored frames, so it's not text over BG, pictures can go over BG, or you can add a drop shadow effect too.

Many possibilities :P

Holey shite balls man, that is gorgeous.

I see exactly what you mean by that, I will take a lot of inspiration from that concept.

Thanks dude, was trying to see what worked and what didn't but it's kinda clear now.
