I've been at this for hours - my Vita won't connect to QCMA. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing drivers, I uninstalled CMA, I used Zadig to change drivers, and many combinations of other things.

Is there a way to do this all with FTP instead of QCMA? Thanks

there is no such way. you need to figure out what the issue is.

    Start QCMA as administrator
    Refresh database
Restart QCMA and Vita and try again (QCMA must be run as admin)
Try using wifi instead of usb cable
Try 3.60 DNS or 3.65 DNS with QCMA

QCMA is an app that might not work the way you expect it to, just need to have some patience. it'll eventually work

Thank you, using this method I made some progress. It got past the error it was usually giving me, and asked me to sign into my PSN account. The problem is, I tried to sign in but it just hung for around 45 seconds and disconnected. I will have to run through it again with another account maybe.

i had the same problem with my vita that i couldnt log in to psn with qcma. my solution was to do a system format, and make a psn account during first time you turn it on after system format

Ah, you have no idea how helpful this is, thank you. I would have spent the next 2 hours trying to figure that out.

Quick question - when I do a system format, the firmware will remain at my current firmware correct?

Thanks!! How does the system allow you to make an account without being connected to the internet btw? Isn't that stuff usually handled by the PS site?

Just an update - got everything to work. Thanks for the help!

Turns out I had to spoof 3.69 because it wouldn't even let me sign in to my existing PSN account without updating.
