Certain PS4 games like the Resident Evil 2 remake and Persona 5 Royal support remote play on PS Vita. Is it known whether or not this will still be supported for these games when played on PS5 through reverse compatibility? PlayStation Blog doesn't list it as a remote play device, yet in a separate post it doesn't mention Vita remote play in a list of PS4 features unsupported on PS5.

Yeah I think Sony is only gonna approach streaming games to your phone on the same network, unless they show up with a new handheld console with that feature.

I'm confused, what're you saying "yeah" to
Idk. My opinion is still what my post says though. You probably won't get any support for remote play on the PS5 from Sony. It would make little sense for them to spend money to develop support for a system they have officially discontinued. There are no official retailers selling new systems for potential new customers so yeah I don't think that would happen. Also Sony would probably want a newer wifi chip for remote playing from the ps5.

Hopefully the PS5 gets cracked so that we can see a homebrew work around for it.
