This update, thanks to cmf028's changes to the ARM DynaRec backported to the Vita build by TheFloW, bring a huge performance improvement with several games moving from being slow to be fullspeed!
Some renderer issues had been solved too and some QOL changes took place as well.

- Separated nightly auto updater from stable releases auto updater.
- Optimized several instructions in the DynaRec.
- Made DynaRec code buffer doublebuffered.
- Implemented several missing instructions in the DynaRec.
- Added registers caching to the DynaRec.
- Fixed some issues in the DynaRec causing incorrect operations to happen.
- Added loop optimizations to the DynaRec.
- Added memory access optimizations to the DynaRec.
- Removed Safe Dynarec as CPU emulation mode and added a DynaRec config panel to properly enable optimizations selectively.

Tested - Daedalus X64 Nightly

Donkey Kong 64 USA : Complete done from start to end ! Full Playable.

The framerate is good, but also slowdowns, but full playable. The game crash later very often on bigger the maps, level Fungi Forest mostly crash. To reduce the crash and errors I had use the settings ->
Texture Caching = Accurate
Anti Aliasing = Disabled
V-Sync = Yes
VRAM = Yes
This setting gives the best framerate and reduce crashes, but it gives some texture errors, this is not a problem. Change the settings back make the textures perfect and clean but gives more crashes. The videos has some black lines, but no problem. Europe copy dont work. Tested +30 hour found 150 Bananas. Million thanks !

Duke Nukem Zero Hour USA : Complete done from start to end ! Full Playable.

Tested with High res in-game option Expansion Pak, framerate is the same like Donkey Kong 64. Anyway change the in-game video setting to LOW gives better framerate. Videos works fine. No crash !
I had use the settings ->
Texture Caching = Accurate
Anti Aliasing = Disabled
V-Sync = Yes
VRAM = Yes
Tested +20 hour and there was NO CRASH, but slowdowns here and there no big deal. Thanks, was fun to play.

Hexen 64 USA : still testing (chapter 2)

The emulator say that this game is not good working. After playing first Map and Chapter 1, the game runs mostly perfect with music !

Doom 64 USA : still testing (level 07)

Works perfect. But the music has some errors, its the only problem. The Europe version has more Music problems.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah it works great but it's the obvious Ds factor you loose from it it's not like playing atari games on atari because Nintendo actually use to give a reason to buy their hardware

  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
I used a vertical touch 22" monitor for playing some 3DS games through Citra.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Can't be that far off from it not like ds requires super hardware
  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
@K3Nv2 I did that using Citra for 3DS games. Bottom screen was my smartphone. Until I got the touch screen.
  • SwordShielder @ SwordShielder:
    Use a TV
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Citra allows it already?
  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
    Yes.

Ken I have that sort of set up on Drastic on Pi for games that don't require touch
