Just a thought. Please don't lay into me if it's completely idiotic.
I always thought that one of the reasons the Wii locks into 'GameCube mode' when playing GameCube games is to prevent any exploits from being magnified on the Wii. I really noticed this when the only way (that I could find) to get back to 'Wii mode' was to turn the Wii off, and then on again. Now, what about Virtual Console games? Could it be possible to find an exploit in the game and/or emulator, that could allow Wii homebrew? What would happen if we used a game like Zelda: Ocarina of Time, caused it to crash, and then used the Debug code for it? If it worked, would the code be any different, or would it show up pretty much the same as it did in the N64?
