Ive been hearing/reading the term "IP" used on gaming websites, magazines, and podcasts, but I never knew what it meant. For example, "The new IP that Epic is working on is sure to be amazing". Are they using it as Intellectual Property, or something new that they just happened to forget to mention what it meant to me.

Maybe im just not up with the hip lingo. Could someone give me the insider help and let me know? [IMG]

It's Intellictual Property, a new IP would be a new franchise, like Red Steel was at launch or even a one off game.

Thanks for clearing it up. I heard it once on the 1up Yours Podcast about a half a year ago, then I rapidly started seeing it more and more.

Youll always be sexy to me, babe.
