Don't know if many of you have saw this but Vampent has created a GB / GBC emulator for phones looks really interesting and I wondered if anybody has tried it out. The is a nes version but the gbc is far more interesting if you ask me. My friend recently got a new very nice nokia n95 and I would like to test it to see how well it runs, I do not have a phone capable of emulating gbc but soon will be replacing my phone. I would like to know how well this performs or if its a slowdown mess, although this is being sold there is a trial version to test as well.

A gba emulator has been made to work on high end phones such as the ngage but at a frame rate of 5 fps its still a concept tech build.

    So...

Has anybody tried this if so how does it run?

I tried it and it runs roms really well. A great emulator. The only downside is the controls except if you have an N-Gage.

I once borrowed my cousin's N-gage and tried out a GB emulator. It was cool... until I realised it was a timed demo and the emulator got locked.

Shame there doesn't seem to be one for my SonyErricson K800i

Agreed. I can't find one for my motorola pebl, either. It's really lame.

I'd try and develop my own using other bits of source code if I actually knew how to develop for the motorola platform. I guess I could use java....

Its ashame really, symbian phones still do have the best OS for applications because they are .sis files and are C++. Most others rely of java.

I am not sure if only smart phones can play the gbc and gb games or any.
