I have a V1 Switch which got it's M92 Chip replaced when it just stopped charging out of nowhere. So I sent it for repairs and when it came back, I couldn't dock it, because the dock would start blinking and I was always charging it with my 65W Laptop charger but ever since it came back, I can't even use the original charger or my laptop charger, only the phone charger works. Which part of the hardware could have been damaged that it doesn't charge on higher voltage anymore?

You shouldn't really use a charger other than the official charger.
I know but I always charger everything Type-C even my keyboard and headphones with the same laptop charger for years and it's working great but now the official charger doesn't even work
I'll avoid it from now on once I know how to fix it.

What was the voltage on the 65w?

Sorry for the late reply, it has 20V, 15V, 9V and 5V.
I changed my USB-C Connector and it still doesn't charge with anything but my low voltage phone charger, I have a Quick Charge Phone charger too which gives 'Charging Error' on Switch.
I tried using the Dock, and when I plug it in, the Switch starts charging and immediately stops and the green light on Dock starts blinking.
Is it an issue with my Dock or my Switch? I can open up my dock and clean it up if its related to it.

Your problem might be that 20v, as the official one only supply 15v 2.6a and 5v 1.5a when docked and undocked.

The Switch and the charger should communicate which V/A they support and use that.
To me it sounds like something in the switch is broken so it doesn't do that anymore and only works with the "dumb" charger that only supports the baseline V/A that any device supports.

Yes I think the same as well, because I had my Switch stopped charging once and I got it repaired and ever since then, all the chargers I used to use stopped working even the official ones, so I asked the same person I asked to get this fixed but they couldn't figure out the issue so I guess its the way it is, because they tried their chargers which worked with other Switches didn't work with mine, even after replacing the USB-C Connector.

Did you try to plug the official USB cable directly to the console instead of the dock?

Yes, if you mean the USB to Type-C Data cable, it does connect but if you mean the official Switch charger then no, that doesn't charge as well.

If you paid for the fix then just bring it back as they didn't fix it. Sounds like the switch can only accept 5V (usb phone charger) but not 15V. Maybe another bad M92 chip or they damaged something else when replacing it.

In you case you problem was using the 65w when docked, when docked the switch asks for 15v if your charger supplied 20v I can see why your M92 doesn't work correctly.

I sent it back and they checked it with different homebrews to test the Type-C and stuff but couldn't figure out why it was only accepting 5V. That's why I am asking here if there is another chip that handles the communication for the voltage.

Sorry my original post didn't imply it properly, I didn't use the 65W when docked, I only used the laptop charger when handheld only and docked I only used the original switch charger and it died when I was using it handheld.

Find a better repair shop because they should have never given your Switch back without fixing the problem.
This is a pretty basic repair.

Some details about your issue :
The Switch has 5V charging with a 5v only phone adapter and 15V fast charging with a PD or original adapter.
It sounds to me that the 5V circuit is fine but the 15V charging circuit inside the Switch is still broken.
The Switch probably tells the charger to send 15v but internally it can't convert it for charging the battery,
The Switch had nothing to check whether the charging process is going well or not.
So slowly you will be draining you battery when connecting it to a PD adapter.

Besides the M92, there is also a BQ24193 chip that handles charging.
They work together to make this slow/fast charging possible.
An extensive write up about how the charging in the Switch is supposed to work can be found here :
https://www.retrosix.wiki/bq24193-battery-charger

There is plenty of information on GBATemp about the M92 and what to measure.

Besides the ICs themselves, also surrounding components like capacitors can be broken.

Hekate has a page of full of info about the battery and charging ic.
This is a screenshot of a broken system so don't mind the numbers.

Hey, thank you so much for a really detailed answer, this is exactly something I was looking for.
I will look for other repair shops nearby so that maybe I can get this fixed because even though I mostly use it handheld, I sometimes have cousins over and we have to play Mario Kart on a tiny screen so this would help me (I was considering getting another V1 Jailbroken just to use it for Dock but I would love to have this fixed)
In my MTP Responder in DBI, It did say USB 3.0 High Speed OK so I am not sure if that is helpful.

I am posting my Battery Info from Hekate, I am not sure if it would be of any help.

I asked the guy who did the repair, I asked him what he tried and said that whenever the PD charger is attached even the 5V aren't initiated, when you connect and CC Pin resistance changes but it doesn't push the 5 Volts either, and secondly the BQ and M92 are working and there are no error, and 15 V negotiations aren't working either and CC Pin is connected and working as well so what could be the issue?
Sorry if I am asking too much
