yea i wanna know if anyone here knows japanese or is fluent or something. I need some help writing some words using it. During pictochat or when changing ur user name u can choose the japanese function.

Does anyone know which type of japanese writing system is used?

I know there is 2 used and one is romaji. Can anyone tell me the other one?

And if so can you please Write "Fat" and "Boy" using romaji, katakana or hirakana

Also i'm new here so i'm not sure if this is the correct place to create this thread

You've spelt it wrong, it should be "???" (or in hiragana "???" is good).

I had thought of that, but if you pronounce it ??? it won't sound right. Writing it out would spell the same, but it is pronounced ??? [IMG]

If you are going to write it how you say it, it would be ?????not ???, but as someone already said it's ????

Also it's not correct to say "????????????", it should be ??in place of ?......

Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. Kanji are Chinese characters used to shorten sentences (technically that's their purpose).

Cool! I worked in Tokyo before. Where in Tokyo do you live? Have you heard of Sangenjaya?

Too bad when I get back to Japan I'd be staying in Oosaka.

I don't think Japan adopted Kanji from China to shorten their sentences. Kanji are ideograms used to express meaning not to shorten sentences.

By the way, what is it with you guys and your obsession with ????'s?
