Hacking Using PS Vita for Henkaku without a psn account activated

Hello, I own a Vita Slim, but I updated it because I have PS Plus and stuff, so I got myself a new one, it will arrive in a couple of days, my question is, in this new vita, will I have to activate it with a psn account? I plan to use it mostly for games on Henkaku and emulators, no PS Store stuff, I have another one for that, so, is it possible to use it for henkaku without activating it?

Henkaku allows activating your Vita and visiting the PSN, you need to have run it once after booting up however.

Ok, so during initial setup I just use a dummy account? And after that I'm set?

You don't have to enter account info during initial setup.
You can finish it only setting the time and region and then go to settings and then have fun in the great browser app.

No you don't need to activate psn for henkaku. Activating psvita is a DRM feature. It only allowes you to play the games you bought from playstation store. If you deactivate it, you can't play them. That is all.
