    Hi,

If i buy a memory unit for the xbox 360 can i put saves and my gamertag on it and transfer from xbox to xbox with no issues?
Also do i have to restore gamertag each time i swap from xbox to xbox?
Also im going to buy a new elite and a friend says there is v1 and v2 and v1 has had issues with trasnfering data from hard drive.
How can i tell if v1 or v2?

    Cheers Shane

    1. yes, if you've got a HDD it will automaticly store all your gamertags and saves on there. Transfers are not a problem.
    2. no
    3. never heard of that issue. But it shouldn't make a difference. Otherwise you've always got your warranty.

Will the Datel max memory card do the job that i require?
So i can run a gamertag on a xbox 360 using the memory card without restoring it?

    Cheers

All 3rd party memory cards are blocked (to my knowledge) as Microsoft are jerks

You can transfer your Gamertag by using the recover gamertag option (google it), but for transferring the saves you need the Memory Unit. Sorry I don't know about Datel max card so I can't help you with that.
