Gaming Using AR cheats with Gamecube

Is there a way to play gamecube games with cheat codes like you do with ocarina?

The search function hasn't yielded any results, and if possible I'm really just trying to run the debug menu of SSBM.

As far as I know, not through Wii homebrew. You will need an Action Replay disc for the GameCube that has the ability to enter codes. To use it on the Wii, I am pretty sure that you will need to downgrade your MIOS to version four, unless it possibly boots through GeckoOS. (Depending on how new your Wii is, downgrading may not be a good idea.)

Also, if you have a drivechip, I believe that it may also be possible to boot it by using the GameCube Operating System (GCOS).
