ROM Hack Using an old save on a VC inject.

Hi everyone. I'm trying to get my old save from Pokémon Leaf Green I had on emulators to use on a VC inject.

I'm truing to use JK Save Manager to do the trick, but if I try going to the game's save data options, it just gives me error opening. Am I doing it wrong?
