You don't think you need the performance boost until you play Sm4sh, like honestly

maybe not but the extra buttons are nice and it loads up WAYY faster

get old 3ds if you don't care about emulation or new 3ds only games and put 50 towards a switch next pokemon game is on the switch the 3ds has reached the end of its life
