Hacking Use EZ Flash 3in1 with Ace3DS Plus

Hi, I've been follwing this guide to play GBA games on my DSL:

But when I get to the step where I need to run GBA_ExpLoader, I get this screen:

I press A and then end up at this screen, which does nothing:

I tried patching the gba_exploader.nds file with the DLDI file for AceKard+ and R4, but neither of them worked either.

Am I use the wrong files, or have I been doing something else wrong?
