In order to get this application to actually boot on my Wii, I had to play around with .dols and .wads. So, I am using USBLoaderGX v1.8 with a boot.dol file from v2.3 and the .wad file from 1.8. After all this, USBLoader does in fact run and is able to boot games from my USB drive just fine. When I boot a game from USB, specifically a Project M 3.0 ISO, the game will play perfectly for about a minute, and then it will freeze if in a match, or the "Super Smash Bros. Brawl disc is required" message will show up. We originally put Mario Kart Wii on the USB drive which never froze. Once we put Project M on it, both games would freeze. The USB drive we are using is 16GB with 14.5GB of actual capacity. Now, I'm sure you will need a LOT more information to be able to properly help me out, but please bear in mind that I added the homebrew channel to my Wii yesterday, so there is a lot I still don't understand.
