Hacking usbloader gx....partition

hi,
i have finally got usbloader gx to detect my hard drive...but it says its not fat/ntfs/ex2 ect... it is fat32.
is it possible to create a partition on my drive without losing the stuff already on there and then format the partition to ntfs?

Yes I did it without losing any data. I think, and don't quote me on this one, I did it with Easus Partition Manager.

hmmm weird.. my drive is ntfs but usbloader gx says i need to format it as it isnt a supported format
