Hacking usbloader gx.. how to

i got the latest usbloader gx, put it into my apps folder.
checked if my external hd is compatible.. which it is.

i plug in my hd into the wii
i start the usbloader
then it says detecting hd... a countdown starts and ends.. then says cant detect device :(
what am i doing wrong please?

try using a different loader like Wiiflow or CFG if you receive the same problem with both of those then it's most likely your hdd or installed a compatibile cIOS like hermes. if they do recognize it then simply delete everything gx related and start fresh :)

it detects my external plugged into the bottom slot..thanks :)

problem i have now is that my drive is fat32...and the loader dont support fat32...only fat/ntfs/ex2 ect...

so i wondered if its possible to create a partition on my drive without losing the stuff i have on there?

hmmmm.... actually my drive is ntfs...but usbloader gx says its not a supported format and asks me to format it to fat/ntfs/ex2 ect....

any help as to why it says its not ntfs but it is?
