I might be wrong, but it's probably not possible.so it would be nice to be able to continue using the GC Controller Adapter to select a GC game instead of needing to pull out a Wiimote just for the menu.

I meant no disrespect so I'm sorry if you took it that way. I was just trying to have fun, not get noticed. But I do agree with you that it would be nice if someone else continued where Blackb0x left off.I don't understand your sarcasm because I'm totally serious. But hey, congrats to you for getting noticed.
I didn't get divorced but I did just fall out of the hobby of it all and went away for like over a year. But now I'm back going deep down the rabbit hole trying to set everything up as perfectly as possible.Yeah i understand life. I got divorce and went away for like 2 years and didn't care about retro stuff or much of anything. Life can suck.
Blackb0x did the lords work for us and i'm soooo appreciative of him and others like extrems on the gamecube swiss side.
I do hope someone else takes over and continues it like extrems. That would be amazing!!!
nintendont games seem to work when launched from usbloader gx with the gamecube adapter on vWii so whatever nintendont is doing, usbloader gx also ought to be able to doI might be wrong, but it's probably not possible.
Hey all. I have a problem with USBL GX I haven't been able to find an answer to. I could have sworn I once saw someone else with the same issue when I was looking into vWii forwarding, but now that I actually have the issue I can't find anyone talking about it. Anyway, I digress...
I used TeconMoon's Wii VC injector to inject a USBL GX forwarder dol (which I got by extracting it from the the vWii forwarder wad in Github using CustomizeMii) using the homebrew injection mode. This works almost perfectly - I can launch USBL GX with gamepad support, all GC games show up, etc. The problem is that when I go to actually launch a GC game it just launches the main nintendont menu and doesn't autoboot the game. If I open the Nintendont settings at that point, all settings are set to "off", and even if I change a few of them inside nintendont (eg setting autoboot on and wiiu widescreen on), then launch a game, the settings are gone when I return to nintendont via the same path next time.
Autobooting GC games via Nintendont works fine if I enter USBL GX from the system menu, or even via a vWii forwarder made with boot2vwii. In that scenario selecting a GC game starts it up normally.
What is up with VC inject mode that's causing the nintendont settings not to be passed on correctly? Has anyone seen this before or knows how to fix it? if the USBL GX forwarding to nintendont isn't working in VC inject mode I might as well just make a nintendont VC inject instead, but I really like the USBLGX UI and would prefer to use it.
Also, my understanding is that the only way to get gamepad support on vWii NAND titles is with a VC NAND inject forcing classic controller emulation, right? I thought I read once in some thread that VC injecting USBLGX would allow launching NAND titles with gamepad support but everything I've seen since says that's not possible without further cIOS work since the cIOSes that allow both to function are conflicting. Just wanted to make sure that's still the case.
The game of tin tin is not yet solved unfortunately
Sorry I meant 1281 / 1282 and I've already disabled USB at boot.USB Loader GX 1271 / 1272 doesnt support playing Wii games from SD Card. You need Version 1281 / 1282.
The "USB Device not initialized" is normal as you dont use a USB drive. The search for USB can be disabled in the HDD setting menu.
settings > HDD settings > mount USB at boot : disabled
It looks like you were right Sypherone, I did have 1281 in the apps folder but had installed 1271 installed within priiloader so I could quick boot into it. So each time I tried booting up USB Loader I was being taken to 1271and was being pushed to it each time.USB Loader GX 1271 / 1272 doesnt support playing Wii games from SD Card. You need Version 1281 / 1282.

see here ==>I recently bought a used copy of Medal of Honor Vanguard and uploaded to my external HD in USB loader GX. However, it doesn't show up in USB Loader GX. I can't see it on any of the different views, i.e. grid, circular, etc. When I try to upload it again, it says it's already installed. Anybody know how I can get this game visible in USB loader GX?
Thanks jeannotte. I was able to find my answer through the first link. It took a little bit to figure it out, but what happened is strange. As I said before, I used USB Loader GX to add the game to my EHD, but then the game would not show up with my other titles. When I looked on my HD, the region in the game ID was different than all my other games. So I updated the ID and then it was visible and I could lode it through USB loader GX. But the weird thing is that when I physically put the game into my system, I could load it from the Wii home screen without any problem. But if the region was incorrect in the ID code, then my console should not have been able to load the game.
There's no softpatching of GCN games like that, you'll need to hardpatch your ISO. Then you can run the hardpatched ISO via Nintendont and log into a server. When was the last revision released?
I forget the last time i updated USB Loader GX. :c
Also: USB Loader GX can patch Gamecube games? I want to patch Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 and 2 for the Item Lose Prevention patch.
try to reset settingHi guys !
I'm trying to play "New Super Mario Bros Wii" (SNMP01) from USB Loader GX v3.0
r1281 and d2x v11 beta1, but it "freezes" few seconds after the first screens,
when actually playing. The game seems to work fine from the dolphin emulator.
I'm using an external 256GB hard drive plugged on USB0, formated as FAT32. One
USB port is enough to power it, but the HD box has an optional power cable
that I plugged on USB1, just to be on the safe side.
I've been able to backup two games on the HD, and played "Rabbids Go Home"
with no freeze.
When SNMP01 freezes, the music stop, animations on screen keeps moving, but
it looks like any action from the wiimotes are blackholed. Trying to connect
a second wiimote makes it blink desperately in the great void. the only thing
I can do is to force-off the wii pushing the on/off physical button on it for
few seconds.
Looking around at the forum, I updated the IOS following the wiidev guide in the github repo of usbloadergx and the usb-loader-gx-troubleshooting-guide threads on this forum. This helps a bit as the game was freezing on the "take the wiimote
horizontally" screen. Now, the game freezes few second after the action
actually start.
I tried to disable the deflicker: no luck.
I tried to disable the ocarina: no luck.
I set "Region free everything" from Priiloader: no luck.
The freezes also happen when starting the game from a USB key formatted with
NTFS. So I suppose might no be some drive failure/bad blocks.
Any help or ideas or next step I should try?

what version of GX do you have?Morning
I need help with a really weird situation, USB Loader GX isn't detecting my SD Card. That's actually pretty odd since it happened out of nowhere, I even reformatted the drive to FAT32 and nothing works.
