So I had a USB HDD containing Wii and GameCube games that I used with USB Loader GX. I began to use that HDD for other things and slapped all of the files, and most of the games themselves, onto a flash drive instead. Same folder format and everything. Now, USB Loader is detecting the presence of the drive, but listing no games. It's in the right port. Nintendon't sees applicable GameCube games and launches them, as well. Is there anything I might be missing?

Hello,

Maybe your problem comes from your USB key?

Did you format your usb key in FAT 32?

many people on the forum have problems with USB keys (often black screen or won't start).

use a FAT 32 external hard drive, you have less problem to start your games with USB loader gx.
Try to test with a new external hard drive around you, and you will see the result.

Recommend ==> Use "wii backup manager" "to place your games on the USB support.

Good call. I double checked and it turns out it was exFAT. Will reformat it and give it a go - would be surprised to see if it still has any issues afterwards.

Edit: It worked. Hooray!
