(Just as a heads up, I'm not that much of a Master Mind when it comes to softmodding, so forgive me If I did/do something wrong)
So recently I decided to Switch from WiiFlow to USBLoaderGX, since WiiFlow would randomly crash while playing certain games, and so I followed this Youtube Tutorial to set it up.

And it works fine, No crashes, games work fine but the previous problem got replaced by another problem.
Loading speeds are REALLY slow, to the point it is unbearable. And some game's audio start to glitch out at certain points (For Example, Wii Party's Music has Lag spikes every couple of seconds)
What would normally take about 2-5 loading seconds would now turn to almost 30+ seconds per loading screen.

The USB I use for my Wii Backups is a 64 GB USb Formatted to FAT32.

I seriously need help, and I don't know where to start.

Alright so after a bit (And by a bit I mean like two hours) of research, and following a more updated guide for USB Loader GX, It turns out the problem was the USB, and I tried with a different HDD I had and the problem is now gone.

Thank you for the help!

Glad you found what was causing the issue. Usb flash drives are known to be finicky with the Wii, that's why it is always recommended to use an external hdd with a y-cable for much better compatibility.

Y cable is generally not necessary unless it's being used on the wiiu, as the WiiU's usb ports are relatively underpowered compared to the Wii

Edit: certainly can't hurt though

I could swear my hdd wasn't getting enough power even if i was using the right-most port, until i used a y-cable, and USBLoaderGX either doesn't detect it or it keeps counting-down.. But YMMV i guess, considering different usb adapters, hdds.. Etc
