Homebrew USB loader GX doesn't detect the wbfs files I put on it manually.

I have downloaded multiple games and put them in the "wbfs" folder on my USB drive and they all work but for some reason, when I put a Super Mario Galaxy WBFS on the drive it just won't detect it. I tried installing it from the legitimate game disc but when I get to the first cutscene the game crashes (I'm guessing this is because the disc is scratched because it does this when I just run the game disc as well) I have tested the WBFS with dolphin and it works fine.

How is the hard drive formatted?
Did you use Wii backup manager or similar program to put the games on the drive? They HAVE to be in this format.

wbfs/Game Name [GAME ID]/GAMEID.wbfs/Game

wbfs/Super Smash Bros Brawl [RSBE01]/RSBE01.wbfs

Run a syscheck and post it here

I have never used any programs to put wbfs files onto the drive I just put them in with windows explorer. This is what my file path looks like.

Every other game works except super mario galaxy.
I'll download syscheck and send back the results

So, first I would try using Wii Backup Manager so the formatting is correct.

If that doesn't do it, I would change cIOS 249 & 250 to d2x-v10-beta52 revision 65535

so should I format the drive to wbfs? Right now it is FAT32 but it has other important files on it. Could I make a separate wbfs partition?

You can use the windows explorer to transfer games, like Illuminaticy said just change the folder names and they will work, you can also use the same HDD to play gamecube games with nintendont or even use it as a normal drive

Wii Backup Manager creates the required folder structure for WiiFlow and USB Loader GX to be able to detect and run the games. I'm using them both and haven't had any issue whatsoever.

Hi everyone..!
i've been using a flash drive on my Wii that has all my homebrew applications and games for a couple of months, recently i accidently formatted it and i want to get everything back on it, i followed the same steps i did not too long ago and it didn't work (no idea why) i kept looking through forms and youtube videos to know what is going on but no luck );

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

i formatted my flash drive to FAT32 with 32k bytes allocation size unit, and i used Wii backup manager to transfer my wbfs games to the drive, and i plugged the USB on the port closer to the edge, i reinstalled both USB loader GX and Wii flow and d2x-cios (from homebrew browser on the Wii) and when i boot USB Loader GX or Wii flow my games dosen't show up (i tried checking the Wii games filter) maybe im still missing something, i would appreciate anyone trying to help

Have you used Wii backup manager? Do the games show in it and if they do try click drive 1 click inactive change it to the drive with games then click tools>fat 32 and ntfs> update storage convention. This puts the folders names and files names properly and make sure the files are .wbfs.
