I didn't notice that it was a link. I'll check it out now. Thank you :)

Thank you Cyan for your help. It looks like I have v8 based on that syscheck. What do you think might be the issue? I still haven't got these new backups to work :/ Should I try a different IOS from the default?

I just made things worse. I used Cyan's d2x installer successfully, and now USB Loader GX doesn't load ANY of my games that were working before. I've tried 249, 250, and 251. all fail back to the Homebrew channel :'(

    Here's my latest syscheck since updating 249 - 251.

You installed v10 r52, but v8 was as fine.
the cIOS shouldn't be the cause of your problem.

running a game, and returning to loader or sysmenu means the games are not found.
either the ISO are bad, or the hdd is becoming corrupted? (run checkdisk?)
or your hdd is not recognized with cIOS (usually happen with flash drives, not hdd).

try to revert back to d2x v8 (reinstall v8, it will overwrite the current one).

also, your BC version is old (bc v2 instead of v6) but it's not a problem as it's only used for Wii set in gamecube mode.

    Hi

I'm having the exact same problem with this as well and unsure what to do.

    Warning: Spoilers inside!

I had the Wii Backup Manager verify the files as good (text is in green so thats good right?)

Gamecube games work fine, but not Wii games.

    Hello.:)

Before updating something, please check your USB device if it works correctly.
USB Sticks/Flash Drives and so on are known as not 100 percent reliable and maybe not working correctly. Also please check of using the correct USB port of your Wii:

    728px-Wii-USB-port.

You can update your two important IOS´s 249 and 250.

    Please Download
    cIOS 249 [57] -d2x -v8 -final
    cIOS 250 [56] -d2x -v8 -final

You can use the Tool ModMii for this:
    https://gbatemp.net/threads/modmii-for-windows-official-support-topic.207126/

and install it with a WAD Manager like Multi Mod Manager or Wii Mod Lite (you can get them also with ModMii on Download Page 2).

    Another option:

    Thank you and

    Good Luck.:)

@Shuhasu Welp, the problem is obvious. Unlike GC games, you need cIOS to run Wii games from a drive. I recommend you get the ones @alexander1970 said to get from the d2x cIOS installer.

I'm not sure which one was the problem, but I did update my cIOSs and the drive was in the wrong slot. Seems working now!

    Thank you! :D
