Hey everyone, I recently installed cIOS38Rev14 (Had cIOS36Rev9 before) on my 3.3 PAL Wii. The reason I did that was because I heard USB Loader GX would be able to run my No More Heroes ISO, which turned out to be false information. I'm not really sure what to do now to make it work. Any ideas?

    Thank you very much.

Okay, I just finished updating my system to Rev17 but the game still refuses to load. I only get black screen after selecting it on the loader...

Edit1: Seems like the games I could previously load started getting Error 02, but I fixed that through the settings menu.

Try Configurable USB Loader or WiiFlow, these loaders should work.

Thank you for your assistance thus far! I've done as you told me and tried running said game through both loaders, however, seems like luck isn't on my side. Could this be a case of corrupted ISO/transfer through to the USB rather than a problem with my console?

There are 2 different ISO of No More Heroes 1.

As PAL version doesn't have blood, there was a patch to make NTSC-U game working on PAL only.
The patched game was then uploaded without info over the region.

Be sure that your no more heroes is a clean iso, for NTSC-U wii.

If you have some knowledge on the Wii scene, you can try this, else find another Iso :
You can check buy using Wiiscrubber, extract boot.dol of the game partition, and open boot.dol in GenericWiiPatcher.
Check for Video mode>Advanced setting> here you must not found any PAL.
If you have a PAL signal, it's a bad iso for you.

Hmm... I load my ISO into Wiiscrubber but I don't see any expandable menus under the partitions (So I can select Boot.dol and extract it). Does that make the file corrupted?

    Greatly appreciated,
    Omedeton.

yes, that's not normal that you can't expand the game partition.
most likely a bad dump or corrupted download. maybe you had a .sfv or .Par2 files to verify your download ?

Else, I'm afraid you'll have to find another one.
