i'm on usbloader 1.5 original...is there no way to self-remove the 'install' and 'remove' options on the menu?

I don't know about steam, but I have a better chance winning the lottery then learning how to properly code. Just looking at source gives me a migraine.

I'm not very good at C, but I'm going to attempt to remove "Install" and "Remove" from SD/USB Loader 1.5

I'll post it if I succeed.

...coz that would rock...they should have 2 vers from the get go or make it configurable via a xml file or something..i'm sure waninkoko can enable that easy...(hint)

doesn't have to be complicated...just a simple disabling of buttons assocated with 'install' and 'remove'...or even everything except button A.

Works nicely, great job! Assuming you only altered the portion of code dealing with add/remove, it will work great for a basic kids version. I only tried 1 game, but no problems.

Again, nice job

Yeah, I only removed the Install/Remove stuff, I didn't mess with anything else.

I deserve no credit for this, Waninkoko and Kwiirk did all the work.

Could you please repost this file? I need to use it to keep my kids from deleting games as they play. Thanks for your help.

Hi there. Lemme start out by saying thanks for doing a search (it's often underused).

However, this thread is over a year old. In that time, more stable (and better) loaders have arrived, often including a parent lock as well. So instead of using the earlier links, I suggest you take the time to look into wiiflow or configurable USB loader. It's some getting used to all the features (including the parental lock), but I can attest that they do their job and look fancy in the process.
