PS1/2 USB Extreme for PS2

Anyone know anything about it? Or have it? I am having trouble getting my ps2 to detect the hard drive. =[

It says "A USB device is required"

Anyone know the problem?

I've got it and it works fine with my WD Mybook 250GB HD. Is you external HD usb 1.1 compatible? Also try formating with FAT32 if it isn't already.

It's an 80 gig, and it is formatted to FAT32. Anyways, I gave up and bought swap disc things haha.

Yeah, I ended up doing the same actually. Swap magic has much better compatibility. But the HD extreme is nice for the stuff it does work with as I don't need to get out my original discs of the games to play them. I'm also guessing it will save some wear and tear on the optical drive.
