USB Drive for Car

Is there a way to connect a USB external hard drive to a car so I can play mp3 files off it? Would much rather do that than burn mp3 files to blank cd's. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can connect an MP3 player to your car stereo.

If your stereo supports it then yes. However most External HDDs need more power than you cang et from 1 USB port so you may need to mess around with an extra power cable for it.

The Pure Highway is pretty ok, better if your Stereo has an Aux port.

Yeah I've got an AUX in port on my stereo and just hook my MP3 player into it.

MP3 player or a phone? Yeah, I think you can do that. I'm not sure about the external hard drive, however.
